Dear Parents/Guardians,

To assist in the creation of our new school, we must begin to register students for the 2012-2013 School Year. For that purpose, we are providing this registration form, which is also available on the new website that can be accessed through the existing site… under the tab Regional School.

The process of the formation of the new regional school is being overseen by an Implementation Team of 12 and consists of: The Pastor, Principal and Business Manager of each school as well as three parents from each school. St. Helena parents are: Andrew Vu, Norajean Glenn and Elizabeth Morales. From Incarnation of Our Lord: Marie Borgella, Deatrice Gomez and Olga Rodriguez. The team will be serving as a liaison for the parents while providing input for making decisions in the coming months.

Staffing decisions for the Regional School will begin as soon as we are able to get a new count for the amount of students that will be in attendance. Students from both schools will have a seat in September. As of now we have your intent form and we are happy that your child will be returning. Please send in the $125.00 per family as soon as possible. You will need to fill out one form for EACH child in your family that is registering. Remember that the fee will jump to $175 on May 1, 2012. We need to interview and hire teachers so please let us know what your intent is at this time.

On March 25, 2012 there will be a meeting, beginning at 3pm, for the new regional school.

We will have translators available for Vietnamese, Spanish and French Creole, as well as English, to help make this process smooth. We will have the computer room open and available for you to apply for financial aid from the BLOCS foundation that evening. You will need to bring your financial information (tax return) if you would like to fill out this form in our computer room. We will also have 3 different uniforms on display that evening for you to cast your vote on what your student will be wearing during the 2012-2013 school year and the Student Council from both schools will be available to take you on a tour of the new Regional School.

As this process continues to move forward, additional details will be shared with you. I understand that there are questions and both the team and I are doing our best to equip you with as much information as possible. I am enclosing a tuition schedule for you to keep. Our new website is being launched today.
