will offer Small Groups sessions for Lent 2011
Who can participate in a Lenten Small Group?
ËAnyone
who would like to “do something” for Lent that will deepen his/her
relationship
with the Lord, especially by
understanding the changes in the New Roman Missal for Mass.
ËAnyone who would like to learn about and practice the changes in the New Roman Missal with other parishioners.
ËSpouses, friends, and neighbors can come together!
What is the format of a Lenten Small Group?
The Format is simple:
Ë Opening Prayer
Ë Explanation of the New Roman Missal
Ë A comparision of the Old Missal responses to the New Missal Responses
Ë Practice of the New Responses
Ë Ways to share these new changes with your family
and friends
Ë Closing Prayer and Sending Forth
When Do the Groups Begin and End?
ËGroups run for six 1 hour sessions for the six weeks of Lent
ËGroups begin the week of Ash Wednesday, March 6, and finish the week of April 10
just before Holy Week.
Time: Saturday’s from 11:00am to 12Noon
Place: Rectory Basement Meeting Room
